Your Role
As a Support Worker, your role at Alora Living is to provide high-quality, person-centred support to residents in our newly built, state-of-the-art Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) homes. You will assist individuals with daily living tasks, personal care, medication, and community access, while encouraging independence and the development of life skills. Working both independently and as part of a dedicated team, you will follow individual support and behaviour plans, maintain accurate documentation, and help create a safe, inclusive, and empowering environment where each resident can thrive and achieve their goals.

What You’ll Be Doing
No two days are the same. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for:

Assisting with personal care and daily living activities

Administering and supporting clients with medication

Facilitating community access to support independence and inclusion

Helping clients build life skills and working to individualised support plans
-
Keeping clear and accurate notes and documentation
-
Following client behaviour support plans and established routines
-
Working both independently and collaboratively with the team.

What we’re looking for
We’re looking for people who can provide high-quality care and who are available to work evening, overnight, and weekend shifts, in addition to weekdays. Flexibility to pick up extra shifts is highly valued. Availability to work 25–40 hours per week is desirable.

To be Successful, you will have:

A current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (Yellow Card) or be in the process of obtaining one

A Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent)

A current Australian Driver Licence and willingness to transport clients if needed
-
A valid First Aid & CPR certificate or willingness to obtain it
-
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
-
Prior experience in support work (highly regarded).
