At Australian Quality Care, we're seeking a Client Liaison Officer to work in a small team who are the primary point of contact for NDIS participants and their families, ensuring a smooth, empowering experience with our services. You'll be part in building trusted relationships, navigating NDIS complexity with confidence, and making sure no one falls through the cracks.

​

This role is all about showing up for people, building rapport, and getting the system to work for those who need it most.

 

Your day-to-day will include:

​

Relationship building & communication

  • Be the friendly, consistent contact for participants, families, and carers.

  • Build culturally respectful, trust-based relationships.

  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure timely and aligned service delivery.

  • Coordinate support aligned with NDIS plans, individual goals, and clinical input.

Strategic & Operational Impact

  • Develop service agreements tailored to individual funding and life goals.

  • Manage plan reviews, reassessments, and transitions with clarity and care.

  • Identify gaps or new service opportunities to enhance participant outcomes.

  • Maintain top-quality digital records and ensure compliance with NDIS standards.

Team Leadership & Innovation

  • Support and guide Support Worker Team in delivering high-quality support.

  • Lead by example in continuous improvement and service innovation.

  • Collaborate with allied health professionals, Support Coordinators, and NDIA reps.

  • Advocate for client rights and wellbeing with professionalism and heart.

Who You Are:

  • You understand the NDIS inside and out and know how to make it work for real people.

  • You have 1-2 years of NDIS experience demonstrating comprehensive understanding of the system.

  • You've worked in client-facing roles in mental health or disability services.

  • You have qualifications in social work, community services, psychology—or relevant lived experience.

  • You're calm under pressure, emotionally intelligent, and confident in complex environments.

  • You're strategic, organised, and can balance people-first support with compliance and documentation.

Your Toolkit Should Include:

  • NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or Yellow Card)

  • First Aid & CPR (or willingness to obtain)

  • Driver Licence (local travel involved)

  • Full working rights in Australia
